DINAMIQS spun out of a biotech to support the cell and gene therapy community with world class viral vectors

2019

Foundation in gene therapy

DINAMIQS originated within DiNAQOR AG with a focus on developing gene therapies for genetic heart and kidney diseases. The company built its scientific foundation around organ-specific delivery technologies, including AAV vectors, engineered human tissue models, and specialized cardiac and renal promoters.

2022

Launch as a CDMO

DINAMIQS was established as a CDMO under DiNAQOR AG, built from the company’s Vectorology team. Under the leadership of Eduard Ayuso as CEO, the organization began supporting clients with viral vector R&D and process development at scales of up to 50L.

2023

Joining Siegfried

Siegfried acquired a 95% stake in DINAMIQS, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth. Backed by one of the world’s leading CDMOs, DINAMIQS expanded its capabilities with plans for a GMP facility in Zurich and future lentiviral manufacturing.

2025

GMP expansion and growth

The GMP facility officially went live in 2025, with the first batch successfully produced to benchmark standards for yield and quality. Alongside this milestone, the scientific and GMP team grew to approximately 50 employees, led by Martin Kessler (CEO) and Eduard Ayuso (CTO).

2026

Open for projects

In May 2026, DINAMIQS recieved the manufacturing and testing license from Swissmedic for viral vector cGMP production. With this approval, DINAMIQS is authorized to manufacture and release Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products under GMP conditions – marking a key step in supporting customers across the globe on their path to patients.
